Brief description of study

Emerging infectious diseases are infections that have recently appeared within a population or those whose incidence or geographic range is rapidly increasing or threatens to increase in the near future. The main purpose of this screening protocol is facilitating the study of new emerging infections by collecting: 1. Some basic information that can be used to determine which studies a given subject might be eligible 2. To collect specimens in healthy individuals and survivors of emerging infections that can help in the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic modalities for these infections. This study will enroll eligible healthy volunteers or individuals with confirmed or suspected infection with a pathogen relevant to the study objectives. Ability and willingness of participant to provide informed consent. Men and women aged 18 years
