Brief description of study
The research study is being conducted to determine if a new type of
contrast agent can detect your cancer cells and to determine if the cancer has
spread. The dye is unique for the
following reasons:
· It is not
radioactive
· It can be seen
with a simple camera that does not require radiation
· It is designed to
go to cancer cells.
You have been invited into this study because there is
a chance that you have cancer. If you
agree to join the study, you will be asked to complete the following research
procedures: injection of the contrast dye and then visualizing your tumor
during surgery to see if it took up the dye and is allowing the tumor to glow. Eligibility of study
