Brief description of study
Do you feel out of control around junk foods?
The purpose of this study is to examine how different dietary interventions affect health, mood, and concentration in individuals who report feeling out of control around junk foods. Possible benefits of the study may be helping you change your diet and/or lose weight.
Detailed description of study
The study consists of a baseline assessment, randomization visit, and 7 weekly, 1-hour individual counseling sessions with a psychologist. The total duration of the study is expected to be 8-10 weeks, depending on scheduling.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: health,mood,wellness,weight,food,diet,weight loss,eating,overeating,overweight,obesity

Age: 18 years - 75 years

Gender: All
This study is looking for individuals who have a higher body weight.
This study cannot enroll
participants who have Type 1 or 2 diabetes, have used weight loss
medications in the past 6 months, have lost a significant amount of
weight in the past 3 months, or have had a history of bariatric surgery.
