Brief description of study
We are recruiting individuals suffering from depression for a research study focused on the neuroscience behind depression and stress.
Our study uses a mechanism called transcranial magnetic stimulation, or TMS, which is an FDA-approved treatment method for major depression. We are hoping to improve targeting methods for TMS, as well as track its impact on brain activity, through the combined use of neuroimaging (MRI) techniques.
Detailed description of study
We are looking for individuals who are: -- Ages 18-60 -- Currently suffering from depression -- Not currently taking any psychiatric medications ....................................................................................................................................... Study participation includes: 1. Baseline MRI Scan (1hr) 2. TMS + MRI Scan #1 (2hrs) 3-5. Three TMS sessions (30mins) 6. TMS + MRI Scan #2(2hrs)
Participants are compensated based on study participation.......................................................................................................................... PLEASE FILL OUT A QUICK SURVEY TO CHECK YOUR ELIGIBILITY: https://is.gd/cndslab
