Patients with pancreatic and brain cancer will be enrolled as these patients are known to have higher rates of VTE relative to other forms of cancer. Patients will receive a screening duplex ultrasound, interval 3 month ultrasound for asymptomatic DVT and will be followed longitudinally for one year. Blood will be collected during the initial screening, at the three month interval follow-up (at time of second ultrasound) and any VTE event over the course of the year for cytometric analysis and MP TF activity.
