Brief description of study
Obesity is strongly regulated by energy expenditure, but the variables regulating individual levels of energy expenditure in the human population remain unknown. Participants will fill out a questionnaire and provide blood, urine, and stool samples before undergoing a DEXA scan, measurement of resting energy expenditure, and an exercise performance test.
