Brief description of study
The main purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility and usefulness of performing myocardial PET imaging stress tests in men with prostate cancer who are planned for treatment with ADT. Myocardial PET imaging stress tests are frequently used in the general population to assess a patients cardiac risk by determining if abnormalities in blood flow to the heart muscle can be detected by nuclear imaging with a radiopharmaceutical isotope. However, myocardial PET imaging is not routinely performed in men with prostate cancer.
